Birthday Boy

My husband turned 34 today. This wonderful man that God brought into the kids and my lives. I don't know what we would do without him. I hope he has a wonderful birthday. He took the day off to spend with us. We are not much fun with Jordan being cranky from the tubes. Baby Happy Birthday.

Update on Kids

Jordan had surgery on her beautiful ears this morning at 8 am. She came through it just fine. I am looking forward to her being able to crawl, pull up, stand, and sit up on her own. I was informed on Tuesday that the fluid was keeping her from doing these things.

I got the results of the kids allergy testing yesterday. Isaac is allergic to cats, beef, and highly allergic to a fungus, the normal high is .35 and his is 55. Becca is allergy to wasps and a different fungus.

My kids will start weekly allergy shots on September 18. My kids will hate me for a while. This shots will be weekly for a while. Please pray that my kids don't get to bent out of shape about the shots and they don't hurt to much.

My Kids

I have had a long week. Three kids sick at some point. Becca had a double ear infection, she still has a tube in her left ear. Isaac had croup on Saturday, every time lately we have taken him to the doctor we have had to add a medicine to try to get his allergies in check. Jordan was diagnosed with a double ear infection, throat infection, and sinus infection on Thursday. Thursday night her fever got up to 102.4. Then on Saturday night her fever got up to 102.6.

Becca and Isaac gave blood today for testing for allergies. Jordan is going to have tubes put in her ears on Friday. She had a hearing screening today and she has a moderate hearing loss. She will be fine. I am going to probably be wreak on Friday, so if you all think about please pray for us.

I am looking forward to getting to the bottom of all this and to see what God does through all this. We serve such a good God. We are fully trusting Him thru all this.

First Day of School and a 10 month old

Yesterday Reuben and I took the older two to school for the first day. Becca is now in Kindergarten, that is hard for me to believe. Isaac is now a third grader, that is even harder to believe. My baby is now 10 months old, she is get so big. She is not crawling or trying to pull up yet, but I am not concerned. She didn't sit up until last month. She is doing everything at her own pace, which is fine with me.
Reuben is working on another class for college on Counseling. I am looking forward to being able to go through the book when he is done.
I am going to Kansas City in September for my ankle. I hope the doctor and figure out what is wrong with it.

Updates on Us all

Hi all,

We have been so busy and school has only been out 3 weeks. We are have a blast with T-Ball and Baseball this year. I will post the kids pictures later.

Isaac is at Cub Scout Camp. He left this morning and I already miss him. He has been so helpful this summer so far. He ended up having a wonderful fourth quarter in Second grade. We just loved his teacher.

Becca just completed the second week of Summer School, she is going because she wanted to. She had a wonderful time in Pre-School, she had an awesome teacher. We could not have asked for a better teacher for her. They were matched up wonderfully.

Reuben just finished his text book for his first course for college. He is loving being back in school. We are filling in right now at First Assembly in B-town. Last Sunday was our first Sunday there, we are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in this church.

Our home church has a new pastor, he is a friend of ours. He has know me for over 13 years. I can not wait to be back at our church on a Sunday morning and here him preach as my pastor.

My foot is doing about the same right now. I am waiting on Workman's Comp to get back to me about the trip to Kansas City. There is a chance I will not be taking that trip, we just have to see if the doctor will take my case. The Dr. in Springfield said that I am only 2% disabled and Workman's Comp said it has to be at least 15-20%. I have been advised to start the paper work on disability, but I am going to wait and see what comes of Kansas City.

Jordan is getting so big. She will be 8 months old on Saturday. It seems so hard to believe, seems like just yesterday she was born. She is cutting her two teeth on the bottom, rolling over and trying to crawl. She will be so mobile so soon, I am kinda dreading it.

I am trying to come up with solutions for a Yard Sale; we have so much stuff to get rid of since the move. I am trying to see if it is worth it and to see how to have every thing out, we don't have any tables. If any of you have any ideas please let me know.

I will talk to you all later.
